The Choreography of Whales

an interspecies Love Story

October 29th, on the beach of Sobieszewo Island (Gdańsk, Poland)

The performance was a response to my research of the Baltic Sea, and an homage to the Baltic Sea harbor porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) who is critically endangered (CR) and facing extinction. 

accompanied by camilo camar/performer/dance partner for Whale Fall project and Chagua Camacho-Olguín/video artist.

Just after the performance I had a discussion centered around my artistic work and research of ecology, art & activism with the participation of a group of dancers and choreographers based in Gdańsk and a group of students from the Artistic Institution Management at the University of Gdańsk.
